Dartmouth College Counseling Center is looking to hire a clinician who has established experience providing counseling and outreach/programming to Black, Indigenous & People of Color (BIPOC) students. Through this work, the aim is to advance intentional efforts to provide services to our increasingly diverse student population. As such, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working with BIPOC student populations.

Position Purpose

Provides culturally informed short-term individual counseling, group counseling, diagnostic assessment, on-call crisis intervention and management (daytime and after hours), risk assessments/mandated risk assessments, and long-term community counseling referrals to Dartmouth College students.
Provides culturally informed outreach and prevention services to students, faculty, and staff, particularly focused on needs of BIPOC students.
Participates in psycho-educational activities that address students' developmental needs and consults with faculty and staff regarding psychological distressed students. Serve on campus-wide committees.

Key Accountabilities

Provide clinical services, including individual/ group counseling, triage and initial assessments, crisis intervention and participates in the emergency coverage 24-hour rotation system (60%).
Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate prevention and outreach education programs (25%).
Provide consultation to faculty, staff, and parents regarding mental health issues that affect the well-being of students (15%).
