The Sr. Manager, IT Physical Security Systems Operations & Maintenance (i.e., security badging technology, video Surveillance and other security products) owns one or more IT processes within one functional area. The position manages services provided to one or more internal and external customer(s).The Sr. Manager IT, Physical Security Systems Operations & Maintenance works on multiple projects as a technical delivery team owner, and sometimes as a project leader while managing matrixed resources, responsible for systems analysis, design development, integration enhancement, maintenance, and support.
These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and in compliance with the organizations architectural standards. Sr. Managers IT, Systems Design & Development are involved in the Full Systems Development Life Cycleand therefore are responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities beyond development of software may include participation incomponent and data architecture design, technology planning, product evaluation, advanced testing processes and buy vs. build recommendations.Individuals must be able to adjust to constant business change. Managers also provide client support, consultation and subject matter expertise for system development, maintenance, and support.

The salary range is$141,660 - $183,600 Sr Mgr DT Sys Design & Dev.Payis based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience,certifications,internal equity,etc. Depending on an employees assigned worksite orlocation, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employees basesalary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and rewardour employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individualand company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position and/or long-term incentive plan compensation.
