Position Summary

Revance is a rapidly growing company in medical aesthetics and are building our team to include a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Operations to support the launch and commercialization of innovative products.

Our Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Operations is motivated by developing innovative ways to use digital platforms and digital media to drive awareness, consideration and product trial among both healthcare professionals and consumers.

The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Operations is part of a dynamic marketing team and will work with marketing to develop, deploy and measure digital programs and campaigns that support the brand goals.

This individual is someone who excels when they are the "quarterback" for a cross-functional team that also includes user experience, graphic designers, developers and IT. This individual must possess strong project management skills, be able to provide the cross-function team with clear business requirements for marketing programs to ensure the team can execute and measure digital marketing initiatives.

The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Operations is responsible for marketing automation/CRM campaigns, website and social media channel optimizations and paid media strategy and execution. This person will be our subject matter expert on best practices for digital marketing capabilities and execution; advises cross-functional teams on process and execution.

Previous experience defining business requirements, setting up and executing campaigns in SalesForce required, including general knowledge of required infrastructure necessary to support CRM campaigns. This role will also manage and a provide the Manager of Marketing Operations with direction so they can support day-to-day execution and reporting for CRM campaigns in SalesForce.

The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Operations will oversee paid media strategy and execution. You will define media strategy with the marketing team and then be responsible for managing media agency partners to ensure paid media campaigns are optimized to support brand strategy. This role will also ensure brand channels - website, social - are performing well; lead web analytics and have skills to develop tag requirements and A/B testing.

Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Marketing Platforms, Programmatic Display and Video & Ad Exchanges. General knowledge of required infrastructure necessary to support SEM, Display, Paid Social, Programmatic, Remarketing, OLV, FEP among others.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative ways to use digital channels to acquire new customers and improve campaign performance
  • Manage the development and execution of digital marketing programs and campaigns, including marketing automation/CRM, paid media, and digital channels (websites, social channels, apps)
  • Oversee marketing automation/CRM campaigns; provide cross-functional team with strategic and execution direction
  • Lead digital media strategy across paid and owned brand channels
    • Oversee and manage media buying agency and relationships with media partners (Google, Facebook) to ensure media partners have strategic direction
    • Oversee and optimize media execution
    • Develop key performance indicators for media and measure campaign performance and optimize digital marketing initiatives.
    • Manage digital reporting dashboards and proactively provide marketing with insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance.
  • Oversee and optimize SEM and SEO
  • Oversee website and social channel performance
    • Community management
    • Lead generation
  • Provide marketing team with campaign analytics that measure impact and proactively recommend opportunities for marketing to improve campaign performance

Minimum Required:
  • BS/BA Degree

  • Preferred emphasis in communication, business and/or marketing.


Minimum Required:
  • Senior Manager Level: 7-10 years of digital operations or digital marketing experience, minimum 4 years in consumer digital marketing experience (health care, beauty or luxury goods preferred).
  • Demonstrated broad marketing mix strategy experience, with expertise in all digital channels and how to leverage them in a complimentary way.
  • Track record of successful campaign launches, well versed in channel, media and brand performance indicators.
  • Ability to synthesize insights, create focus, and influence the organization to move forward.
  • Analytics and Decision Making: Creates structured frameworks to evaluate, assess, and enable business decisions.
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, visible and cross-functional team environment.
  • Position is based in Irvine, CA

  • Possessing both agency and in-house experience a plus.
