ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE)

The Sr. Director of CCOE is a senior-level role responsible for leading a cross-functional team of cloud architects and aligned functional management. Responsible for strategy, design, and adoption of ADP’s Multi-Cloud and Hybrid-Cloud solutions. Responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent and ensuring the engineering staff has the skills and capabilities to meet business needs.

This is an opportunity to be in the driver seat and help ADP solution their cloud journey. The CCOE will oversee and govern ADP’s product migrations to align with cloud strategy and architectural blueprints for security and resiliency. You will have the opportunity to assemble a talented team and drive the execution of cloud adoption and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cloud architects

• Work with many cross-functional stakeholders closely aligned to the CCOE like HR, Finance, Legal, and Global Security Office at ADP

• Define governance structure and processes for engagement models
• Define architectural blueprints for cloud best-practices
• Consult with product development teams on cloud migration strategy
• Maintain adoption dashboards for senior leadership
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) in security and resiliency to scale solutions
• Create a consumable knowledge hub that development teams can use
• Drive adoption and measure business outcomes
• Provide operational support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of overall technical experience in cloud architecture (prior developer experience a big plus)
• 5+ years of experience managing technical teams

• Strong leadership skills and managing, mentoring, and developing technical teams
• Experience with and deep understanding of AWS, Azure, RedHat OpenStack, and networking
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Business acumen and hands-on technical experience
