As a Data Management Associate Sr. , you will be responsible for working across teams to ensure consistent implementation of standard processes, creating and maintaining process documentation (procedures, job aids, templates), providing guidance to the sub-Lines of Business, providing reporting and conducting periodic stakeholder forums, and escalating whenever appropriate. You are expected to understand key controls and policies within these programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Controls and Compliance to ensure that our processes align with Firmwide and CCB policies and standards, as well as relevant regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Sub-Lines of Business, Compliance and Office of Fair Lending to implement a standard set of processes across the Sub-LOBs
  • Create and maintain process documentation such as procedures, job aids, templates, calendars, reference guides to aid in the standardization and effectiveness of processes
  • Provide guidance to the Sub-LOBs and data feed owners
  • Develop metrics and reporting for key stakeholders
  • Escalate process issues as appropriate
  • Lead and support other priority ad hoc data governance initiatives

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Basic understanding of the importance of data, data risks and data controls
  • 5+ years Data Governance, Risk Management, or Controls experience in the financial sector
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships and collaborations
  • Experience with defining and implementing processes/projects/programs
  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and planning skills
  • Recognized as a team player and highly organized
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to add value, think creatively and holistically, and have a bias for action
  • Comfortable working across multiple organizational levels and functional areas

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in financial sector
  • Masters degree
