As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Digital Performance team is accountable for ensuring first class experience on JPMorgan Chase desktop/mobile/tablet applications for our current and prospective customers. We are a horizontal team in Digital Technology within CCB and work with all CTO groups within Digital.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in application development, data, infrastructure, quality assurance, and architecture disciplines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • 5+ years of managing a team of 4 or more engineers
  • 6+ years of experience in developing Cloud native applications, APIs and Microservices using Java, Angular, Oracle/Cassandra/SQL Server and leveraging Spring framework
  • Strong understanding of modern engineering practices and toolchain including common design patterns, 12 factor cloud patterns, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, application performance, resiliency and security
  • Experience on mission critical 24x7 environment
  • Strong troubleshooting /problem solving skills
  • Understanding of Performance testing life cycle & best practices is preferred
  • Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, BlazeMeter, DevTest is preferred
