Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Engineer Architect - Agile Product Owner. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

**_What youll get to do:_**

Incumbent represents Product Management and the voice of customers on their assigned Digital Engineering Environment (DEE) Agile product development scrum team or teams. Collaborates with GBSDs Product Manager, System Architect or Engineer, product development team scrum master(s) and product systems analysts to define the work so that the integrated team can review, commit, and execute within a defined period. Product owner owns the team backlog. Prioritizes key areas of work during a program increment, ensures that the DEE product development team understands the intent and requirements of feature and user story definitions, and that the team is aligned on all acceptance criteria. Represents customer interests and continuously dictates team backlog priorities

**Responsibilities may include any or all of the following:**

+ Maintain structure and arrangement of the C&L Cameo Model and remove inconsistent architectural artifacts
+ Create new and adapt existing models, methods, and analysis capabilities to conduct studies to support the design, development, and assessment of advanced system design concepts and technologies
+ Perform routine audits and provide findings to delinquent architects on the team
+ Remove all deprecated and duplicative design elements and errant relationships
+ Prepare model for final Major Design Review deliveries including construction of C&L Architectural Overview diagrams and all MDR dashboards
+ Responsible for initial and subsequent synchronizations of data into the model from external databases.
+ Identify areas and methods for improvement on overall model organization and performance
+ Serve as direct point of contact to the System and other IPT-level model governors and model governance boards. Ensures C&L architecture team consistency to overall Program Style and process guides

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

**_Basic Qualifications:_**

_This requisition may be filled at either a Principal level or level Sr. Principal level._

+ Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Masters (Sr. Principal level requires 9 years with a Bachelors degree; 7 years with a Masters degree; or 4 years with a PhD)
+ US Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
+ Technical experience with concentration in design, development, integration, implementation, and operations of complex large-scale information systems and technologies
+ Minimum of 3 years experience leading development teams in an Agile environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Active DOD security clearance within 6 years
+ Active SAFe Agilist and/or Scrum master and/or Product Owner certifications
+ Strong leadership, experience building agile teams; excellent written and oral communications skills; emphasis on drawing, modeling and communicating systems engineering
+ Ability to provide total system perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components for a project
+ Ability to independently prioritize, plan and execute work tasks in a rapidly changing environment
+ Prior experience supporting various classified environments and meeting government and security requirements including SAP, JSIG, JAFAN 6/3, STIG, RMF, ICD 705 and DFARS
+ Any technical experience with SAP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Engineering Solutions, Product Line Engineering, TeamCenter Enterprise, Mobile Applications, Extranet Solutions, or Collaboration Solutions
+ Knowledge of two or more of the following technical domains: software, IT infrastructure, network, security, business analytics, mobility, virtualization, cloud technologies

Salary Range: $87,600.00 - $131,400.00Salary Range 2: $108,600.00 - $163,000.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
