Based in Houston, this is a React Engineer role within the GIB / GCB Technology team, inviting candidates who are passionate about application design & programming, and aspire to contribute towards our digital transformation agenda. The role expects the developer to possess core Javascript fundamentals that includes writing componentized UIs as well as recommending guidelines & best practices. A successful candidate will be able to handle working across teams and partnering with teams outside of our immediate group to shape and drive the UI landscape. A minimum of 6 years of experience is required in several of the following to be considered for this role: HTML, CSS/JSS, Web development fundamentals, JavaScript, Typescript, ESNext, ReactJS, ReactHooks, Redux, Material UI, Jest, @testing-library/react , Web services (primarily REST), Solid knowledge of component design principles in React and Flux. Must have strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
