We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Data Warehouses who knows how to design and deliver awesome software. You will be a key player in a highly engaged team in a supportive environment to support the business's data, analysis, and reporting needs.

As a Data Warehouse Software Engineer, you will design and develop systems for the maintenance of the business's data warehouse and business intelligence. You will be responsible for the entire Data Warehouse ETL lifecycle including analysis, coding, testing, and documentation. You will partner with Data Analysts and Product Management to design, build and maintain data to be used by internal and external data consumers. This is a fast paced, dynamic environment filled with exciting opportunities to make a difference.

We're looking for people with a background and interest in building Data Warehouses, comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces, have amazing attention to detail, and you're comfortable learning new technologies and systems.

Locally remote work an option in the Tulsa/Oklahoma City area.

Essential Duties:

  • Analyze data in application databases required to transform into Data Warehouse.
  • Develop programming code and software modifications using appropriate languages and tools to provide responsive and innovative solutions, and new functionality in enterprise-wide and complex distributed systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and support associated databases.
  • Write clean, unit-tested code that is maintainable by all developers on the team.
  • Work with project manager and/or data analysts to meet specification needs
  • Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
  • Design integrated solutions which may include applications, databases, networks, and related systems
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned

Technology: We work primarily in Java, Groovy, Mule running in Google Cloud. We leverage modern tools like Loggly, New Relic, Gitlab, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Dataflow, and more.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field; or related work experience
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of Java, Adobe Flex, Groovy or other programming languages

Working Conditions:
