ADP DataCloud is hiring a Senior QA Test Automation Engineer with demonstrated experience in automation frameworks, SQL, scripting, and delivering quality software products. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with our internal product and operations teams to understand requirements and own testing, automation, and delivery of a high-quality product to our users. You will be working in a collaborative scrum team using agile software development methodology. You need to be highly skilled in multiple technical areas including web application development, back-end API-based services development, and integration technologies and platforms. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you have the opportunity to accelerate the delivery and to improve the quality of ADP products. You will be an integral member of an Agile development team focused on delivering solutions to our business partners. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the development and test infrastructure used by our teams. You will develop code that accelerates the product development process while producing high quality software. You will automate the testing of software systems by designing and developing code. You will have a background in software development, interest in creating automated solutions, strong technical ability, and relish achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
Things You'll Do:
  • Build and maintain Software Test Automation Frameworks including improving and simplifying quality assurance processes.
  • Design and automate test cases to validate large-scale, complex software systems.
  • Develop internal supporting test tools to aid development and testing.
  • Conduct regular regression tests, analyze results, report anomalies, and track to closure
  • Design test specs and create test strategy for new and existing features
  • Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications
  • Participate in the design discussions with developers to ensure features are designed and implemented meeting testability requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Automation Testing using several of the following technologies: Selenium WebDriver, Selenium GRID, Appium, Junit, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, Ant, QTP, etc.
  • Experience with comprehensive understanding of all phases of Test Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, test planning, and scheduling, testing, defect tracking, and reporting using Jira.
  • Expertise in Automation Testing, Mobile Testing, Manual Testing, GUI Software Testing, Performance testing, Black-box Testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • Experience in Web Services testing using REST, XML, & WSDL
  • Understanding of SQL and experience with building SQL queries.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration, Delivery, Deployment, and Testing processes using tools like GitHub, GitLab, and BitBucket
  • Experience in creating Behavior Driven, Data Driven and Keyword Driven frameworks to create/ maintain test suites.
  • Demonstrated programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript or other OOD syntax
  • Detail oriented, reporting and tracking defects in a timely manner during test execution and a baseline understanding of project management.
  • Strong communication skills -- written and verbal
  • Experience working in an Agile test environment

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5 years of experience.
  • Strong in Functional, System, and Regression Testing planning and execution
  • 3+ years of experience in Web Services/REST API.
  • Experience with projects using Agile
  • 2+ years of experience developing enterprise applications
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language -- preference is Java.
  • Working experience with CICD/DevOps infrastructure and implementing CICD from a quality perspective.
  • Experience in virtualization, cloud, and container-based environments like VMware, AWS, Azure, and Docker
