Job Description
AECOM is seeking a motivated Senior Program Manager based in Germantown, Maryland area to Assist the Task Order Manager in the support of Operations and Requirements Analysis Divisions Customs and Border Protection (CBP) portfolio.
Tasks will involve assisting the Portfolio Manager while working in a matrixed organization that requires significant collaboration and communication skills while being adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and tasks.
The successful candidate must understand relevant technologies but does not require detailed knowledge of the underlying technical or scientific aspects. Must be an assertive and structured individual.
The qualified candidate must have a working knowledge of project financials and contracts.

AECOM is a premier consulting service and a top 10 contractor to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). We provide technical support to nine different DHS components and directorates, providing the government homeland security expertise for over 30 years. Our team of over 500 staff provide support services in portfolio and program management, engineering, research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E), subject matter expertise and develop requirements that are driven by DHS components as well as the needs of State, local, and private sector homeland security stakeholders.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; many projects clients are security sensitive
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess or be able to obtain Top Secret or Secret security clearancesMust pass pre-employment drug screen
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS plus 15 years of related experience or Masters plus 10 years of related experience
Strong technical writing skills
Ability to craft strategic communication campaigns
Ability to develop a set of measurable outcomes and metrics
Familiarity with the steps needed to deploy web content
Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in an on-site indoor/office environment. Position requires often keyboard/mouse operations; occasionally standing/walking; rarely working with arms above shoulder level, repetitive bending/stooping, climbing stairs, repetitive or fine hand movements, and lifting 50 pounds or lessProficiency in MS PowerPoint
