**Job Purpose**


Within a Business Unit focusing on the Microfinance, Private Equity and Real Estate funds, the Senior Fund Accountant will actively participate in the development of this activity.


The Microfinance Senior Fund Accountant is responsible for the end-to-end fund investment flows and the validation of the Net Asset Value (including clients' queries management).


**Key Responsibilities**


Act as Single Point of Contact for the fund(s) allocated

Day To Day accounting treatment (Expense, accounting entries)

Ensuring accurate net asset value calculation and maintain accurate accounting records for selected clients

Investigate and justify exceptions raised during the NAV process


Following compliance of NAV calculation and accounting records with accounting policies and GAAP

Accurately completing additional services as per agreement (OM, ICSA, SLA)

Ensuring accuracy of fund financial statements drafted by financial reporting

Playing a key role in developing the Microfinance, Private Equity and Real Estate business

Controls and Risk/change management

**Qualifications & Experience**


+ In depth accounting experience

+ Excellent interpersonal skills and good experience working in a team

+ Ability to review legal documents of funds - Issue Document/PPM/Prospectus and translate requirements

+ Challenge the status quo


**Language Skills**


Fluent English Verbal, written and listening


**Recommended Certification**


BAC +4 or Master in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Management or other relevant field of studies or equivalent professional degree (CFA, CA)
