Job Description

The Public Cloud Enablement team for Consumer & Community Banking is building a world class diverse engineering team to solve some of the largest consumer banking challenges in the world. We are looking for senior collaborative cloud engineers to revolutionize consumer banking while remaining true to the commitment of security and availability to millions of customers. We are specifically looking for candidates with analytical and system engineering skills to help us on-board and operate critical banking applications in public clouds like AWS and GCP.

You will join a new hybrid team that is working with various lines of business and products to drive cloud adoption through an agile framework focused on delivering automation, availability, and maintainability from application launch through run. Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer and maintain scalable and resilient Public Cloud solutions following cloud native design principals.
  • Design, implement, scale, and optimize automated cloud provisioning processes.
  • Identify issues and work to resolve in a methodical and swift manner.
  • Automate repetitive tasks via programmatic solutions.
  • Analyze and refine stories in collaboration with Product Teams.
  • Migrate existing on-premise applications to the cloud, and debug cloud stacks.
  • Drive the implementation of operational processes such as life-cycle management and vulnerability management in the cloud.
  • Function as a leading subject matter expert in public cloud engineering and adoption.
  • Partner across the organization to develop architecturally sound and operational efficient solutions to drive business value.
  • Champion making public cloud more accessible for every business stakeholder from the developer to the product owner by focusing on engineering enablement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with cloud-based applications, technologies and tools, deployment, monitoring, and operations, including maintaining the usage of cloud services and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and diverse environment.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enterprise experience as a leading technical influencer within a cloud engineering function.
  • Proven track record of delivering cross functional solutions that leverage public cloud frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Python.
  • Hands-on Expert level experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Hands-on experience with containers.
  • Hands-on Expert level experience with AWS ECS/EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, IAM.
  • One or more active AWS Associate level Certifications.
  • Bachelor Degree or military experience.
