The Cybersecurity Architecture team within the CTC organization ensures JPMC™s consumer and investment services are able to effectively detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats against our technology and services. The scope of Cybersecurity architecture comprises designs supporting detection and monitoring of threats and vulnerabilities, managing security incidents, and supporting our security infrastructure to keep ahead of threats against the system from all level of cyber-attacks. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture.

Cyber Security Architects are strong technologists with a pragmatic view and creative mind. Ideal candidates are natural collaborators with software architects, software engineers, business product owners and senior management. The Architect is expected to lead through influence, communicate effectively with clarity of thought and demonstrated understanding of business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the Consumer Banking Engineering & Architecture teams to integrate security controls into platforms (e.g. AWS based public cloud platforms) and frameworks
• Creating and propagating security design patterns to support building consistent and secure technology solutions
• Assisting and guiding engineering teams in the secure development of infrastructure services and products
• Representing cybersecurity in key line of business technology initiatives to ensure security considerations are designed in compliance with firmwide technology controls from the start and throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Preparing and communicating cyber technology strategy for the line of business and support the line of business in aligning to this strategy in future developments.
• Partnership with cybersecurity Product teams to:
  • Provide security design requirements to define the next generation of security controls which will be used to deliver new banking services
  • Drive prioritization of new requirements to ensure availability for new banking services
  • Integrate cybersecurity Product capabilities into the design of customer banking systems

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experiences and technical depth in one or more technology areas, including Cloud security Data security, Infrastructure security, Endpoint/Platform security, Security Analytics, Authentication/Identity Management, Mobile Security, or Application Security.
• Experience with threat modeling, risk evaluation, or system security assessments
• Experience and thought leadership with infrastructure designs for highly secure / trusted computation environments
• Technical expertise in
  • Cloud computing (Public, Private, Hybrid)
  • Microservices
  • CICD/SDLC
  • Machine Learning
  • Monolithic Services Decomposition
  • API technologies and designs
• Interest in and currency with a wide range of research topics in security technology architectures, computer science research, and emerging startups
