Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Director and Manager cleans, maintains, reprocesses, Anesthesia equipment and supplies and Endoscopic equipment utilizing all standards for quality and patient safety.  Also maintains just in time par levels of Anesthesia inventory for the Surgical Services Department.    Assist the Supply tech in performance of their duties.  Assist on Endoscopic procedures.  Demonstrates willingness to work in other areas of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, as needed.  Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to federal and state regulations.  Actively participates in turnovers between surgical cases. 

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of accredited Scrub technician program preferred.

 

Licensure/Certification: Current BLS required.

 

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous CV Surgery experience preferred.

 

Working Knowledge: Able to assist and scrub, at a proficient level, all procedures related to the department in both acute and stable patients.
