In this role, you will have considerable responsibility in providing supervisory oversight in a large territory within the United States and be a people manager for area managers. In addition to ensuring that the sales performance of the region both meets and exceeds Western Unions (WU)s targets, you will play a key role in managing relationships, both with your direct reports, and also those of the tens of thousands of customers that we have in the region.

Role Responsibilities

• A role such as this at WU will have you playing a fundamental role in identifying strategy, areas of opportunity, visiting with customers, and handling escalations, when they occur.
• You will be comfortable working with senior leadership, and at times, executive leadership.
• Have a high degree of professionalism, discretion, people skills and possess the ability to work cross-departmentally within a global business.
• This role will work extensively with independent business owners. As such, experience with this market segment is a big plus

Role Requirements

• Business Managment experience
• Ideally have at least five or more years of experience working at a director level within a similar industry, although consumer financial services or consumer money transfer would be ideal.
• Demonstrable experience managing a team of managers and will ideally speak another language besides English at the fluent level.
• Spanish fluency is required.
• A university degree is desired, though not required for this role..

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $192,150 314,774 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates qualifications, skills, and competencies.
