Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. This role is in the Consumer & Community Banking Data & Analytics team. The Data & Analytics team responsibly leverages data to build competitive advantages for our businesses with value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines, from data governance and data strategy/partnerships to reporting, data science and machine learning, and are actively engaged in ensuring impact at the front-line and the customer through Sales and Marketing transformation. Job Summary:

The Real-Time Analytics Data Science Lead - Vice President, will be part of a team leading the shift in the way we structure and manage our real-time data in the cloud, accelerating our ability to apply AI/ML in real time. This person will be responsible for providing thought leadership on how Consumer & Community Banking can use machine learning fueled by real-time data and new cloud technology to solve new use cases and to deliver incremental value on existing use cases. This person will also play a key role in executing the strategies in partnership with Technology and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of high performing data scientists to help them grow in their careers
• Manage and execute on the development of a new graph database and graph data science features
• Advise and help execute on the development of a new real-time complex event processing system
• Provide thought leadership on new ways to extract value from data in real-time using ML/AI
• Relentlessly focus on ways to increase speed to market of real-time data science
• Work cross-functionally with technology, product, and other critical functions in an Agile method
• Present findings and recommendations for action to peers, partners, stakeholders and product leaders within the company

Qualifications:

• Inspiring team leadership and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on transparency, fostering teamwork, promoting exceptionalism, and modeling high integrity
• 5+ years of experience of building machine learning models for production systems
• Experience with graph theory, graph data bases, and graph data science preferred
• Experience working on a real-time streaming, event based architecture preferred
• 3+ years of experience working with Agile methodology
• Experience as a people leader
• Business acumen and strong communication skills, particularly when articulating technical matters to a broad and senior audience
• Strong problem solving, and analytical skills combined with the ability to synthesize findings
• Familiarity with AWS technologies and best practices a plus
