Project/Program Manager - VP - Chase Card Services

The Project Manager will direct and manage complex initiatives in an Agile environment. These initiatives can span across the JPMorgan Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) organization, including Credit Card, Retail Branch Banking, Mortgage Banking, and Auto. The Project Manager will be part of a Card Agile Product or Program and will be assigned to manage high priority efforts with significant financial, process, organizational, business and technology impacts.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior business leads to define requirements and analyze solutions
  • Establish the approach and define the necessary work activities to achieve the business/product vision, monitor progress, report health, and address cross-team impediments
  • Own and manage cross-dependencies and ensure business activities for entire end-to-end initiative across all work tracks and all team members
  • Provide proactive communication with senior Product and Program management to understand needs, communicate status, and resolve conflict
  • Define, discover, document, or standardize processes as appropriate
  • Integrate planning tasks across multiple stakeholders within the Line of Business
  • Understand strong controls and audit requirements; ensures initiative aligns with established practices

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • 5 years of experience as a Project Manager (business or technology) in an Agile environment
  • Ability to collaborate across teams

Agile Program Manager Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal effectiveness are critical to success
  • Big picture, strategic thinking
  • Advocate on behalf of the business, based on an in-depth understanding of their needs
  • Ability to delegate and not manage vertically
  • Serve as coach for the project managers on the program and assist in their development
  • Deep product knowledge and ability to build relationships with senior leaders
  • Strong agile knowledge including industry toolsets (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc) as well as JPMC specific agile forums and ceremonies (e.g. QBR, EMR, OKRs, etc)

Ideal candidates would be able to do the following:

  • Have experience in the Financial industry
  • Be results-oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Possess the ability to manage large initiatives that span across different lines of business
