Role Summary

The Chase Payment Solutions team is a group of builders with an entrepreneurial mindset and we are looking for creative, customer-driven, solution-oriented marketers to join the team. As the SMB hardware product marketing lead, you will focus on our physical payment products for small business owners that enables them to sell and accept payments so they can get paid and thrive.

You will work across our full existing hardware portfolio and future products launched in the US and potentially other markets and own the positioning and messaging for the portfolio. You will also work closely with a cross functional team of product management, hardware and software engineering, marketing, brand/creative, sales, and commercialization to bring new product launches to life. You will be joining a collaborative team that values teamwork, a sense of humor, an inclusive mindset and challenging the status quo.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and lead integrated go-to-market strategies that include market research, beta launches, customer advisory group management and user feedback research for the products and features for the SMB payments platform,
  • Collaborate cross-functional marketing teams to deliver strategic messages and content through relevant internal and external channels
  • Partner with business, product, and sales leads to align marketing plans to strategic business objectives and milestones for customer awareness and adoption of products and features
  • Be the subject matter expert for the SMB suite of hardware products around customer needs, competitive and industry landscape, with the ability to help identify product gaps and solutions
  • Maintain and evangelize product knowledge and act as a voice of customer
  • Review competitive offerings and guide ongoing differentiation
  • Create meaningful, relevant and compelling narratives for target audiences, supported by tangible proof points.
  • Develop messaging an sales pitch decks, launch materials, and event narratives to accelerate the market momentum
  • Project manage your book of work, proactively provide updates to team and partners
  • Utilize market trends, competitive and user research to shape how we position our solutions
  • Support lead acquisition content strategy and support direct channel effectiveness
  • Manage controls and procedures in accordance with compliance requirements

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of professional experience with experience in product marketing, consulting or a strategy-related role
  • Passionate about creating compelling product messaging and GTM strategies that align with the needs of the customer
  • Proven track record developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies supporting new product launches
  • Experience developing clear and compelling messaging clearly differentiates our offering and communicate superiority of our platform
  • Customer-oriented mindset with high-levels of empathy
  • Proven success navigating matrixed organizations to drive results
  • Comfortable with, and an advocate for, ongoing change. Drives structure while also pivoting quickly based on changing business demands or environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing product messaging, communications and presentations.
  • Solutions-driven self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Polished executive presence, track-record of flawless execution and delivering strong results
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Preferred, but not required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, MBA strongly preferred
  • Experience working in the small and medium-sized business industry or payments
  • Passion for physical products/hardware and experience launching new physical products to market
