Job Responsibilities

  • Lead Correspondent business platform configurations (Encompass) and associated testing. Lead the strategic development, ongoing refinement & execution of the Product roadmap
  • Manage existing features and actively lead the definition, development, and ultimately delivery of new features to advance the product roadmap. Continually move products towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and address challenges promptly, and with precision, while ensuring that teams are empowered to execute and deliver with quality
  • Demonstrate leadership that actively contributes to attracting, developing, motivating, and retaining a diverse, high-performance agile team.
  • Anticipate and identify issues that will inhibit attainment of goals and proactively solve those problems. Maintain a strong control environment across all product delivery and team activities
  • Develop credibility-based relationships with internal stakeholders and play a significant role in influencing senior-level thinking to foster material change in channel pricing
  • Data analysis - leveraging customer, operational, and adoption/engagement analytics - develop, evaluate, and advocate potential solutions. Own complex and ambiguous situations, overcome obstacles, and deliver outcomes

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Must Possess Financial Services experience (mortgage preferred) with a minimum of 3 years. Home Lending and Correspondent experience a plus. Must possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of operational processes and related concepts and controls. Experience with key mortgage loan originations platforms
  • Advanced/Strong client experience skills with the ability to influence and influence product alignment with senior management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to senior leaders, key stakeholders, employees and third party vendors.
  • 5+ years product/project management experience including defining user experience needs, writing user stories, creating product value propositions, developing features and benefits and developing roadmaps
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading teams who has a passion for technology and knowledge of technology trends and its application
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions, take accountability for those decisions while candidly challenging the status quo to influence the right customer journey outcomes
  • Service improvement and design thinking knowledge with the ability to rapidly and iteratively test solutions - Experience managing product roadmaps and associated budgets a plus
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to inform decisions and move work forward - ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environment. Experience working in agile/scrum teams strongly preferred minimum BS or equivalent level of education/experience required. Masters a plus
