CCB Branch Workforce Planning Process Improvement Assoc. II

The Branch Workforce Planning team is part of Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Operations and is responsible for developing processes that support the successful execution of strategic objectives. The primary responsibilities of this team include application design and support, volume / demand forecasting, and business analysis/support. My Chase Planner (myCP) is a suite of mobile and web applications that work together to forecast and schedule associates across ~5000 banking centers with a goal of optimizing branch staffing while maintaining customer satisfaction. The role will be responsible for working closely with branches, IT and other key stakeholders to support, test, design and manage improvements to the system.

In this role, you will learn how to support and improve the application, as well as, how to navigate and leverage cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives in a Fortune 50 company and America™s largest financial institution. Candidates looking to grow into IT Project Manager or Area Product Owner roles one day would be a good fit for this role.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Supporting day-to-day activities for myCP
  • Participating in design discussions and capturing requirements on future enhancements; working with IT on implementation
  • Becoming a subject-matter expert in myCP and in workforce planning in general
  • Running ad-hoc analyses to support strategic objectives
  • Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes and enhancements as needed
  • Building implementation and other project plans as needed for new system
  • Working with cross-functional and field partners to implement project plans in a timely fashion with quality

Preferred qualifications:

  • Data Collection & Analysis: 3 to 5 years of experience with using and creating solutions with analytics tools: SQL, SAS, Excel, Altyrex, etc. Must have experience in writing, modifying, and executing SQL scripts.
  • Analytical Rigor: Analytical thinker with strong data analysis skills; ability to synthesize information across multiple platforms, systems and organizations
  • Self-Starter: Must be able to operate in a self-directed manner and strive to take the initiative to identify issues and/or ways to do things better
  • Strategic Agility: Identify strategic challenges and opportunities to drive larger scale improvements. Must have strong bias for day-to-day execution while maintaining strategic focus
  • Attention to Detail: Must have a high degree of attention to detail, specifically in ensuring accuracy in all deliverables
  • Process Improvement: Ability to manage, understand, and create business processes and tool design to support objective (i.e. user story mapping, process maps, rules matrices, mockups etc.). Ability to quickly understand, create and document multiple inter-related business processes of varying complexity
  • Relationship Management: Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders through the project lifecycle to actively drive discussions and provide thoughtful input to ensure business needs are met
  • Presentation / Communications: Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely, understanding the audience and tailoring the message to that audience at all levels of the organization - uses diplomacy, tact and a high level of professional maturity
  • Bachelor™s degree or equivalent experience/ training
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and SQL
