Position Summary
The Practice Development Specialist will work closely with the global corporate practice marketing team to organize and implement a wide range of marketing, business development and communications initiatives for the firm, while working collaboratively with, and as an integral part of, the global marketing and business development team. Duties & Responsibilities

• Works with the Global Corporate Practice Co-Chairs and the Director of Marketing to develop and execute on strategic plans for the firm\u2019s Global Corporate Practice
• Works with the Director, Managers and the corporate business development team to support related to proposal request and RFPs; drafts proposals and other pitch material, utilizing practice descriptions, experience databases, and client lists
• Assists with the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm, such as teleconferences, webinars, seminars and other events, including the development and production of marketing materials and on-site logistics
• Provides lateral integration support for new attorneys in the Global Corporate Practice
• Prepares and maintain spreadsheets for practice business development budgets and events
• Supervises the collection of relevant deal information and regularly update the firm\u2019s matter database.
• Compiles information and draft submissions for directory and ranking publications such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, IFLR, various league tables, etc.
• Coordinates with third-party vendors on a variety of engagements.
• Provides excellent client service to internal and external clients
• Collaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams
• Works on additional special projects as needed

    • Bachelor\u2019s degree is required
    • Five to seven years of relevant experience in marketing or business development
    • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Marketing and business development experience at a law firm or professional services firm is preferred
