The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (“CCBSI”) group currently focuses on U.S., Canadian and, most recently, European companies typically with revenues of over $500mm requiring traditional banking services in addition to investment banking products. The group partners with investment bankers, credit and other product partners to offer customized and complex financing solutions to our clients.

The CCBSI Business Management team is responsible for the development, organization and execution of strategic and tactical initiatives to grow and manage the business. Partnering closely with senior leaders and cross functional teams within CCBSI and across CB, the team helps drive key initiatives, continuous process improvement throughout all aspects of the business and ensures that CCBSI’s complex and evolving business runs smoothly. CCBSI Business Management is part of the broader CB Business Management function within CB Finance.

As part of the CCBSI Business Management team, the Business Management Vice President will play a key role in driving CCBSI’s Treasury Services (TS) growth agenda by leading key projects and initiatives as well as managing certain ongoing business needs. The role offers a high level of visibility in CCBSI business strategy. This role will report to the CCBSI Senior Business Manager and will work across the broader CCBSI organization to deliver business results.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead business management team in developing, implementing and executing key analysis and reporting to be leveraged by all levels within CCBSI, as well as senior management in CB and senior partners across the firm
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders including Sales, Product, Implementations and Client Service
  • Support and partner with the Treasury Services Sales Leadership team via tactical and strategic assistance to establish and drive CCBSI’s TS business
  • Support Treasury Services leadership with key finance and business management functions including project management, strategy development, creation and analysis of sales/management reporting, and ad-hoc requests
  • Partner with key stakeholders inside and outside of the CB Line of Business to drive the TS agenda
  • Identify areas for continued process improvement and enhance efficiencies by generating innovative ideas and solutions
  • Prepare executive-level presentation materials to be shared with management, business groups and other relevant stakeholders

  • Problem solving skills – Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather and manipulate data, obtain consensus and support implementing change. Able to outline work process in a thoughtful and detailed manner. Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in knowledge gathering and problem solving
  • Technical and analytical skills – Able to produce accurate, error-free analysis and reporting. Understand business drivers and ensure that the groups’ analyses are sound. Capable of synthesizing large amounts of data in Excel and from internal systems to develop strategic conclusions
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills – Strong professional presence with the ability to interact and influence colleagues at all levels in the business. Able to collaborate with peer team members across business and staff areas at all levels, and achieve goals without direct control over all resources. Proactively seeks guidance, clarification and feedback from others

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Business management, finance and/or project management experience
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint (PitchPro)
  • Familiarity with internal JPMC systems (e.g. Dealworks, Client Central, CKC) is a plus
  • BA/BS degree
