The Wholesale Credit Transformation team is a division of Corporate Risk, responsible for reshaping the end-to-end Credit experience across the firm√Ę€™s Wholesale business units (Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, Asset Wealth Management and Business Banking).¬† The team drives transformation initiatives to deliver improved Client experiences, operating efficiencies and maintain JPMC status as an industry leader. Priorities are driven by the Risk Operating Committee and Chief Risk Officers, providing the organization with a high level of visibility. The team focuses primarily on two key objectives, (1) driving foundational changes that provide immediate benefits to the credit organization, and (2) designing strategic solutions to drive the future of wholesale credit.
The Product Strategy team is a forward thinking team comprised of top talent with a singular focus on delivering innovative solutions. ¬†The team is responsible for designing and delivering new products and solutions used by the Bank√Ę€™s credit risk managers.¬† Team members work in a fast-paced environment to lead strategic projects and collaborate extensively with business, credit risk and technology partners.¬† Typical projects reimagine existing operating models and design innovative solutions to drive foundational changes to legacy processes. Project results are focused on more efficient processes, industry leading technology, improved client experience, and impact to P&L.

The Product Strategy team is looking for a talented individual to join the transformation organization and lead the strategy development and design of a suite of financial projection models and services.
Immediate project responsibilities include:
  • Inventory and catalog all financial projection models being used across wholesale credit risk management; developing recommendations to process, policy and technology that will deliver operational efficiencies, improved Client experience, enhanced data analytics and drive the next generation of our risk management solutions
  • Lead the design of an enterprise solution for financial projections in our strategic technology and data platforms, fully integrated across core credit risk processes
Core responsibilities include:
  • Provide leadership across the Product Strategy team and partner closely with other Wholesale Credit Transformation teams to support needs of the broader organization
  • Facilitate strong working relationships with business stakeholders and lead working groups to capture detailed business requirements
  • Partner with technology team to ensure all requirements are clearly documented, understood, accepted and developed to meet the acceptance criteria
  • Lead small project teams on initiatives to resolve diverse problems identified by senior management and CROs across Wholesale Credit Risk, promoting consistency across LOBs and sub-LOBs, increasing data quality, and improving client experience
  • Create and execute the strategic vision for high-level initiatives, structuring the project into key work streams and managing resources across each work stream
  • Influence internal stakeholders on key business decisions and change efforts√Ę€”developing strong, trusted advisor relationships with key partners to drive consensus on business requirements
  • Manage initiatives from ideation to implementation by partnering with a variety of technology, analytics, and data strategy teams to turn business requirements into innovative solutions
  • Synthesize key insights, complex analyses, and overall strategy into clear and precise presentations and communicate the goals and objectives to an executive level audience, including the firmwide CROs
  • Work closely with the organization√Ę€™s senior management to both make decisions about individual initiatives and determine overall team strategy
  • Develop junior team members by functioning as a project lead


We are looking for a leader who is an excellent communicator, has significant credit and financial analysis experience, the ability to present to senior audiences and an interest in solving business challenges with technology.  The role requires extensive experience and expertise in the following areas:

  • Financial statement analysis, including the development of projection models used in underwriting and/or risk management processes
  • Business analysis, including the creation of documentation and requirements used in the product development process
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in management consulting or business process improvement

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal skills, with an ability to communicate business and technical concepts to both expert and novice audiences. Candidates are expected to demonstrate these skills through the recruiting process.
  • Self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment

  • Experience managing and delivering complex projects in large organizations with dedicated project management experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask to meet deadlines under pressure

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment and with cross-functional teams in multiple global locations

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
  • Experience in the Banking industry, Financial Services or FinTech is preferred
  • Experience leading small teams preferred
