About the Position

Our Payables Product Sales Specialist (PSS) team are Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the delivery of Payables and Connectivity solutions through best-in-class product solutioning that leverages, disbursement connectivity and reporting capabilities of the Firm. The key focus of this role is to partner with Treasury Sales on solution design, pricing and presentation delivery as part of team effort to secure, retain and grow payment processing relationships that significantly contribute to the overall profitability for the firm.

The Payables PSS role requires a deep understanding of payment solutions as well as JPMorgan™s connectivity solutions across on-line platforms, Host-to-Host and API. The candidate will have a proven track record in regards to the ability to identify, create and pitch profitable, client-tailored solutions. Along with a strong understanding of industry trends, market pricing and competitive intelligence as inputs into deal strategy. The Payables PSS role will also help lead client payables process re-engineering recommendations, perform business case analyses for clients supporting an integrated payables solution set, and articulate the end-to-end operational and working capital benefits of our disbursement products. They will work closely with the Card, Supply Chain Financing (SCF) and Foreign Exchange (FX) product sales teams in this pursuit.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Treasury/Cash Management sales or product management/development experience, with a focus on the payables product set
  • Strong technical expertise, payments industry knowledge, and consultative background around complex solutions
  • Strong executive management presentation skills, including ability to sell at the CFO level
  • Laser focus in understanding and articulating customer needs and turning needs into actionable solutions and sales
  • Ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business
  • Demonstrates excellent selling and negotiation skills
  • Strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrates strong time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Has the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

Travel: Moderate travel is required to support a multi-state sales territory.
