Position Summary

This role on the Wholesale Payments Marketing team in New York offers tremendous opportunity to deliver high-impact marketing initiatives ranging from strategic positioning to targeted client campaigns.  Reporting to the Head of Global Content, Liquidity and Trade Marketing, the successful candidate will have strong marketing experience that enables the development and execution of creative programs for our suite of Export Finance, Sales Finance, Supply Chain Finance and Traditional Trade solutions.  

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team, build expertise in client marketing skills, partner with the CIB Marketing & Communications team worldwide, and develop relationships with subject matter experts in the business, Sales and Corporate Banking to raise brand awareness, increase share of wallet and win new business.

 
Main Responsibilities
  • Translate the Global Trade value proposition into integrated marketing programs as part of J.P. Morgan’s Wholesale Payments business

  • Support senior executives and act as their single point of contact for the strategy and execution of their priorities

  • Work with Wholesale Payments Marketing colleagues and subject matter experts to develop and roll out sales enablement materials, product launches and thought leadership content that strengthens our positioning and highlights unique differentiators

  • Partner with colleagues from the Wholesale Payments and CIB Marketing & Communications teams and other areas of the firm to deliver tailored client marketing activities, taking a digital-first approach and incorporating regional nuances, as needed

  • Create presentation material, spreadsheets and other informational documents to support the marketing plan and associated processes

  • Ensure all marketing programs are managed within budget and on time, and report on program performance / KPIs

 

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years marketing experience with proven track record of delivering go-to-market programs

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related degree and/or professional experience in business-to-business marketing

  • Deep knowledge of the transaction services landscape with a focus on trade and supply chain finance; experience in fintech, digital or technology environment a bonus
  • Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics coupled with ability to apply the right mix depending on business objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to build collaborative  relationships and effectively partner across geographies, functions and levels

  • Understanding of marketing through social media and key performance indicators that drive success

  • Ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines and deliver quality output

  • Ability to learn quickly, demonstrate appropriate decision-making and leverage feedback

  • Flexibility, organization and attention to detail in a demanding, fast-paced environment

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office across PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
