The Investments & Client Solutions finance team reports to the U.S. Wealth Management CFO and partners with the U.S. Wealth Management leadership team to strategically grow our investments market share in the United States.  The team’s mandate includes strategic financial analysis and business management across the following groups in US WM: investments products, client solutions, wealth planning and advice, digital, marketing, and strategy.  

Position Overview:

Investments & Client Solutions Finance team is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Finance Director to lead business case development, product profitability, and client solutions business management for all of U.S. Wealth Management.  We are looking for a strategic thinker to lead a high-performing finance team who serves as a trusted advisor to the Head of Client Solutions, Head of Wealth Planning & Advice, and Head of Business Development & Strategy. The director’s responsibilities will include end-to-end business cases for strategic initiatives, business management for client solutions (e.g., You Invest, Retirement, and Wealth Products), relationship pricing, and financial assessment of M&A and partnerships.

  • Partner with the US Wealth Management leadership team to develop strategy and execution plan for Client Solutions, Wealth Planning & Advice, and Business Development

  • Design, develop, and own end-to-end business case P&Ls for strategic initiatives

  • Provide strategic analytical and business management support for the Head of Client Solutions, Head of Wealth Planning & Advice, and Head of Business Development & Strategy

  • Drive product profitability through financial analysis and in-depth understanding of product-level P&Ls across channels

  • Spearhead and own a relationship pricing framework for US Wealth Management clients

  • Influence strategy for US Wealth Management, informed by unique understanding of overall investments business and grounded in data, financial analysis, and product profitability

  • Prepare analysis and presentation materials for key senior management forums

  • Lead and manage a team of high-performing finance professionals

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and finance partners across JPMC

  • Recruit and mentor top talent
  • Strong team leader and change agent passionate about partnering with the US Wealth Management leadership team on driving business results through strategic financial planning and analysis

  • Bachelor's degree with a relevant Master's degree preferred

  • ~10+ years relevant Financial Services experience

  • Superior analytical and financial modeling skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications and ability to tailor message and style to different constituencies (e.g., Finance, Executive Management)

  • Ability to influence and advise executive management

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing team of finance professionals

  • Strong personal management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables at same time

  • Business savvy and commercial judgment
