Medical Assistants provide clinical support to healthcare professionals to deliver quality of care to our patients. Medical Assistants perform a variety of clinical and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to care team
- Prepare patient for provider, collect medical history, and take vitals
- Document patient visits and complete referrals
- Perform clerical tasks such as answer patient calls, monitor in-basket, and generate reports
- Includes other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications: Education - High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience - Successful completion of a competency based orientation program
Licenses - Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) 120 Days or Registered (RMA) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) within 120 Days of Hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 120 Days of Hire
