Medical Assistants provide clinical support to healthcare professionals to deliver quality of care to our patients.  Medical Assistants perform a variety of clinical and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to care team
• Prepare patient for provider, collect medical history, and take vitals
• Document patient visits and complete referrals
• Perform clerical tasks such as answer patient calls, monitor in-basket, and generate reports
• Immunizations/Injections
• Includes other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
Education - High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience - Successful completion of a competency based orientation program
Licenses - Medical Assistant- certified as a Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or registered as a Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) 120 Days
Basic Life Support (BLS) 120 Days

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience - Working within Epic EMR
Previous Medical Assistant/clinical experience working in Oncology and surgery scheduling
