Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a **Manager Facilities Maintenance 2** based out of our **Iuka, Mississippi** location.

**What youll get to do:**

Responsibilities include: maintenance oversight and management for the entire facility, including clean rooms, compressors, vacuum systems, humidification, as well as millions of dollars worth of high tech composite structures manufacturing equipment. Other key responsibilities:

+ Supervises technicians, reliability engineers or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, tooling, and processing equipment via one or more of the following trades: electronics, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, air-conditioning, heating, painting, and/or general maintenance.
+ Sets priorities and performs forecasting and allocates the resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
+ Plans and manages projects using outside contractors and other support resources.
+ Prepares and executes maintenance management budgets
+ Manages facilities equipment and tooling spare parts inventories to assure operational readiness
+ Uses lean thinking/ manufacturing fundamentals and TPM principles to organize work flow, streamline internal processes and minimize equipment downtime
+ Communicates directly with operations management and production control schedulers on status of equipment within the facility
+ Drives root cause & corrective action, utilizing reliability engineering to take proactive approach

As part of the site extended leadership team, you will provide reviews as to the status of maintenance and reliability issues in the factory and be accountable for the scope, schedule, and budget of each area of activity. Your focus will include understanding Maximo (asset management system) to assure proper work control on preventative maintenance, emergency repair, and equipment modifications. Your focus will also include a sound understanding and participative control of the demand, warehousing, and use of spare parts inventory. This position has considerable latitude for independent action and decision making. You will support our current facility and allow it to grow to the next level of operations and production. You will prepare presentations and reports detailing the equipment operational availability & equipment effectiveness

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors of Science or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years experience in lieu of a degree
+ Experience with Facilities, equipment maintenance and/or reliability services
+ Understanding and experience in troubleshooting factory equipment, mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, ability to utilize MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Basic Excel

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Basic understanding of automate carbon composite manufacturing equipment is preferred, including forming, autoclave, conveyance, inspection and CNC machining centers.
+ Ability to prepare sound presentations and conduct meetings with the senior leaders.
+ Proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint.
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams with diverse maintenance/craft skills and backgrounds. Three or more years in a management/supervisory position preferred.
+ Hands-on experience/background in maintenance fields strongly preferred (Mechanic, Millwright, Electronics/electrical, Pipefitter, HVAC background).
+ Experience in lean manufacturing and maintenance management systems
+ Experience in aerospace industry

Salary Range: $86,400.00 - $129,600.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
