Summary of Position

We are looking for a qualified Manager of CRM and Email Marketing to join our team. Success in this role requires technical knowledge and attention to detail. This role will possess a strong understanding of CRM technologies and will play a key role in the success of JobsOhio enterprise CRM programs. You are passionate about driving our advancements of CRM personalization/automation; Active researcher of email inspiration and new trends. You will create personalized segment strategies to drive engagement and conversion.

This job ensures that the customer journey is engaging, efficient and effective. You love data and are comfortable working with a cross-function team to get things done. You will have a deep understanding of each customer and their specific needs. You will set a clear vision for JobsOhio's email and CRM strategies that successfully build profitable, long-term customer relationships across the entire customer journey.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help define the overall vision, strategy and roadmap of lifecycle engagement
  • Ability to strategize and build multi-channel customer journeys including email, direct mail, B2C push messaging/SMS
  • Partner with brand campaign managers to help develop omni-channel experiences
  • Manage the creation and execution of a full lifecycle email strategy
  • Demonstrate knowledge of marketing automation platforms
  • Translate strategic vision into data/information requirements and synthesize complex data into direct insights and recommendations
  • Continuously test and optimize to improve the customer experience/journeys
  • Monitor, analyze and report on KPIs
  • Champion metrics-driven analysis and decision-making throughout the organization
  • Establish and improve KPIs for customer campaigns, programs and segments regularly communicate progress with executive leadership
  • Think strategically, analytically, and creatively about new ways to improve the user journey
  • Stay current on new technologies and data management best practices.

Experience Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct, growth-focused experience in B2B/B2C marketing in support of email marketing efforts/CRM strategies
  • Experience contributing to and building a comprehensive email marketing strategy
  • Proven success in database marketing
  • Experience in delivering strategic email content plans that deliver on business goals
  • Strong business acumen, agile decision making, ability to formulate a strong POV
  • Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done
  • Experience working with email marketing, customer journeys and outbound marketing campaigns
  • Hands-on experience to build trigger-based email campaigns
  • Extensive experience with marketing automation/CRM tools: Salesforce/Braze/Pardot
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and data-mining to help develop the right data architecture for digital. This will include partnering with the director of enterprise analytics.
  • Ability to interface with IT professionals in relation to CRM solutions.
  • Humility and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to distill complex information into a story driven by data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong skills and knowledge in a wide range of tools Salesforce, Tableau, Project Management, etc.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Agency management experience
  • Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Manage challenging situations and communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in marketing automation platforms
  • Capable of independent and strategic thinking
  • Engaged, flexible, motivated and success driven

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
