**Northrop Grumman Defense Systems** is currently seeking a **Manager 1 - General Manufacturing** to join our advance weapons Business unit team in **Northridge, CA or Ridgecrest, CA.**

**_THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE AT EITHER OUR NORTHRIDGE OR RIDGECREST, CA LOCATION (_** **_NOT REMOTE_** **_), and NO RELOCATION ASSITANCE WILL BE PROVIDED._**

**Job Summary**

The General Manager 1 is responsible for day-to-day operations of Northridge and Ridgecrest Material Control Facility. This position leads a diverse team of skilled workers from logistics and material control.

**Role Description & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):**

+ Leading and directing cross-functional teams to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
+ Managing Government/customer supplied property or information.
+ Facilitates priorities of the stockroom based on production floor needs.
+ Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
+ Ensures Preventative Maintenance plans are performed as scheduled.
+ Ensures repair maintenance is prioritized and resolved to ensure safe operations and minimize any down time.
+ Actively involved in increasing Operational Availability across site.
+ Responsible for all aspects of employee and process safety including any corrective actions that may be warranted.
+ Manage material from start to finish, including streamlining process upon delivery, proper labeling, safety paperwork document storage, placement into correct location on production floor, and updating systematically in ERP system and shared file

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ High school diploma and a minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, operations management, planning, or related discipline. Will also consider a Bachelors degree and a minimum of six (6) years of related experience in facilities management, operations management, planning, or related discipline.
+ Current/active Secret clearance.
+ Proven experience interacting will all levels of the organization and external representatives, to include executive management
+ Effective oral and written communication skills
+ Experience effectively working with all levels and types of employees to ensure tasking is completed on time and within budget.
+ Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals and technicians, including both employees and vendors
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills Word, Excel, MS Project, and Visio

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience supporting multiple stockroom facilities.
+ Experience with Deltek Costpoint

Salary Range: $89,800.00 - $134,800.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
