ADP is hiring a Lead Technical Project Manager for Tooling and Technology. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting multiple Lifion initiatives at ADP and work with a team of highly skilled consultants, managers, developers, and subject matter experts. The project manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects by interfacing with senior management, product and technology teams and other team members to meet expectations. This position's primary purpose is to manage project teams to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met and ensure organization readiness. These projects will include process creation and refinement as well as implementation tooling requirements to help support the Implementation organization. This position may lead project teams for various implementation projects simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Senior Leadership, Implementation team, Product, and other departments to determine tooling, technology, and automation needs
  • Partner with the Product team on implementation on requirements gathering
  • Collaborate with others to help create and optimize implementation processes
  • Creating or modifying process documentation in partnership with technical writers and Knowledge Management owners
  • Prepare, plan and execute proof of concept and pilot activities for new tooling and technology
  • May create project plans, including deliverables, activities and deliver training
  • Manage day-to-day activities of projects and staff in a matrixed organization
  • Ensure milestones are successfully met through the management, tracking, and reporting of project vehicles and coordination of resources
  • Work collaboratively with other departments impacting projects, including gaining agreement and negotiating outcomes.
  • Offer guidance and facilitate communication to stakeholders regarding project implementation
  • Provide scheduled and on-demand status reports and updates
  • Work under limited supervision to manage project timelines and risks
  • Gather information necessary to make decisions
  • Anticipate and resolve problems in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of HCM and familiarity with ADP products
  • Experience in requirements gathering for product, tooling and automation needs
  • 5-7 years of experience managing complex projects including; creating and managing project plans, managing project resources, issue resolution, and status reporting, training/communication, and project analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills, communication skills, organization, and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and multiple projects, timelines, and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • Program Management experience
  • Experience in process mapping
  • Experience in planning and leading proof of concepts and pilot activities
  • Understanding of Implementation methodology and process
