Lead QA Engineer

ADP is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to be located in our Alpharetta, GA office.

What You'll Do:

  • Proactive, self-sufficient, requires minimal supervision to fulfill job requirements
  • Review client requirements and provide feedback
  • Develop test scripts based on business requirements and processes, in line with defined workflows, acceptance criteria, and other documentation
  • Reviews and re-evaluates the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules
  • Assists with test automation (UI, backend, API)
  • Develops detailed documentation to support manual and automated testing efforts
  • Collaborates and transfers knowledge with stakeholders (QA, Engineering, Product, DevOps)
  • Identifies cross-team dependencies/impacts in planning, both technical and procedural
  • Leads implementation of software quality assurance best practices and identifies needed improvements
  • Serves as a mentor for QA engineers, leads the team as a scrum master when needed.
  • Acts as liaison between QA, Engineering and Integration teams


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience must include: Java script, Oracle, MongoDB, Protractor; Selenium; Selenium Grid; Cucumber; Unit testing frameworks, including NUnit, JUnit and Jest; and Software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous testing or development technical leadership experience
  • Experience working in Agile framework & using Jira to manage test automation feature development and bug tracking
  • Experience using Postman to test API manually and automate API testing using Apache HTTP or RestAssured libraries.
