**Job Title:** Lab Support Senior Engineer (AD/NIS)

As **Lab Support Senior Engineer** (Active Directory and Network Information Service), join our global Security Engineering team with Dell. Fundamentally, this role focuses on reducing risk to Dell Technologies Engineering Org by ensuring all team members understand and adhere to our security policies and standards, behave securely and responsibly, and take shared responsibility for a secure workplace.

**Key Responsibilities**


Active Directory/NIS Engineer - Services must be a proven leader in integrating solutions and strategies within the customer environment, based on analyzing customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure.


This position calls for an Active Directory / NIS with broad infrastructure and information technology expertise.


**You will:**


This position is responsible for managing all aspects of platform services, including, but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory and Network Information Service


This is a hands-on technical position, and deep knowledge of services infrastructure and platforms is crucial for immediate success.


This position will assist customers with AD take-back activities (eviction) and directory restoration services. This could include both on-premises and hybrid AD. You will also be responsible for helping customers implement security assessments against AD.


**Essential Requirements**


+ Computer System Engineer related field is preferred more than six years experience required

+ Extensive knowledge of AD and NIS configuration, deployment, auditing, and logging, Scripting and automation experience, especially using PowerShell, Python, ANSIBLE or PERL

+ Intermediate experience as Linux/Unix System Administrator (RED Hat, Centos, Suse, Debian, Ubuntu)

+ Experience setting up and support requirements for Hybrid Identity and experience with integration of native and third-party MFA providers

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills


**Desirable Skills**


+ Knowledge in Virtualization (VMWare, Vcenter Management)

+ Experience in installation on all critical patches and auditing the patches.
