As a Technical Product Manager, you will leverage a combination of business, product and technical skills to support the continued growth and evolution of the virtual card product. This includes responsibilities spanning from product development, supporting and enabling internal and client-facing teams, and working directly with clients and partners to advise on product and technical integration approaches. Additionally, you will understand product and technology trends, partner closely with internal and vendor product and technology teams to drive an innovation roadmap, and be a steward of the client and developer experience as we advance our strategy related to APIs and integration channels.

JP Morgan™s Virtual Card product is a flexible B2B payment solution that is constantly innovating to meet the diverse and rapidly evolving payment needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand end to end strategy to support internal and external client experience
  • Manage the product development process with use of a defined and prioritized features backlog, participate in and facilitate scrum meetings, and define KPIs
  • Plan and facilitate JAR/JAD sessions to include analysis and collection of feedback in order to create epics and stories to drive product development
  • Have deep understanding of the product and system specifications and benefits, and effectively communicate those benefits to others, including customers, business and technical colleagues and executives
  • Guide the creation of system-to-system integration channels, including APIs, and the development and testing required to meet the highest standards in integration design
  • Own ongoing operation and growth of the Virtual Card product including serving as a technical subject matter expert and primary contact for virtual card and the product roadmap
  • Provide consultation to prospects, clients, and partners on integration strategies and best practices
  • Partner with technology to build a secured, highly available, scalable, and adaptable platform for the product
  • Provide oversight of end-to-end client experience, including management of client servicing strategy, adherence to servicing level agreements, and assistance in resolving questions/customer escalations
  • Ensure the adoption of the agile mindset, enabling the team to self-govern and allowing for team development and transformation
  • Actively assist to create a positive team culture

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of product development, management, strategy, or marketing experience; commercial card or treasury payments experience or 5+ years of application development management, or application, integration, enterprise or business architecture experience a strong plus
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
  • Analytical thinker with financial acumen and ability to interpret results and key performance metrics to drive change and deliver financial results
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills - able to work through ambiguity, assimilate data from multiple sources, derive meaningful insights, and propose actionable solutions and strategies
  • Technical acumen and ability to directly interface with internal and external technology teams as it relates to APIs, system integration, and solution architectures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively organize and communicate complex information
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence internal and external partners; self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. MBA is a plus. Computer Science background is a strong plus
