Commercial Cards provide payment solutions to businesses (Public and Private Sector) and other institutions for commercial expenditures, including business supplies, maintenance, repair, operational expenses and travel. This role focuses on the production health and wellness of the Virtual Card platform. The Product Operations Manager is the subject matter expert and central point of contact for all teams in order to remediate issues, implement defect fixes, and drive proactive logging/monitoring in pursuance of exceptional customer experience. This role emphasizes the use of data analytics for triaging issues and understanding client usage patterns in the interest of providing superior customer support and develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers. The Production Operations Manager works directly with various servicing and technical support teams and provides product support to the Virtual Card Center of Excellence agile team responsible for deploying system fixes and developing production support enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand end to end strategy to support internal and external client experience
  • Have a deep understanding of the product and system specifications in order to provide product support for internal and external customers
  • Assist in triaging and remediation of incidents. This includes: breaking down barriers and removing impediments, analyzing data, performing data deep dives, tracing data flows between integration points, performing root cause analysis, coordinating between operations and technology, creating metrics, and understanding client usage patterns
  • Manage end-to-end the Virtual Card production and staging defect process
  • Partner with various support teams to improve processes and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating JAR/JAD sessions to include analysis and collection of feedback in order to create epics and stories in line with the product vision
  • Manage the product development process by defining and prioritizing backlog, running scrum meetings and defining KPIs
  • Own ongoing operation and growth of the Virtual Card product including serving as a technical subject matter expert and primary contact for Virtual Card and roadmap
  • Provide consultation to prospects, clients and partners on integration strategies and best practices
  • Partner with technology to build secured, highly available, scalable, and adaptable platform for the product
  • Provide oversight of end-to-end client experience, including management of client servicing strategy, adherence to servicing level agreements and assistance in resolving questions/customer escalations
  • Ensure the adoption of agile mindset, enable team to self govern allowing for team development and transformation
  • Actively assist to create a positive team culture

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of product development, management, strategy, or marketing experience; commercial card or treasury payments experience or 5+ years of application development management, or application, integration, enterprise or business architecture experience a strong plus
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills - turning analysis into actionable insights and remediation plans
  • At least 2 years of experience with database and SQL
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively organize and communicate complex information
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence internal and external partners; self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. MBA is a plus. Computer Science background is a strong plus
