Liquidity & Account Solutions (L&AS) Business Management provides analytical, strategic and operational thought leadership to the business. The Business Management team sits under the Global Finance & Business Management (F&BM) function of the firm and supports a business which plays a critical role in the infrastructure and capabilities that enable money movement globally. The team is engaged in both supporting BAU business objectives, as well as shaping the go-forward strategic vision of the business, working with a wide range of product, line of business and functional partners.

Role description

As a Vice President on the Business Management team, you will be uniquely positioned to gain exposure to a global business. We are looking for a candidate that can collaborate globally across a diverse set of stakeholders and geographic locations in a dynamic environment. This is a highly visible role with exposure to the CEO and CFO of the business. You will have the opportunity to learn about complex products, while serving as a trusted voice and counterweight to its decision-makers and driving key initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to the Liquidity & Account Solutions management team and CFO
  • Maintain and improve models related to P&L forecasting & budgeting as well as understanding the drivers of the business for both historical and projected periods (e.g. revenue, deposits, balance sheet optimization, headcount)
  • Contribute to deliverables such as agenda setting for management meetings, coordination of Town Hall meetings, financial updates, ad hoc projects, and executive-level presentations
  • Organize complex information in a clear and compelling way into management-ready materials
  • Develop a rich understanding of our product suite and infrastructure, including drivers of revenue, capabilities vs. industry/customer needs and business priorities
  • Own current-state processes and identify weaknesses, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Represent the business in a range of forums with functional partners
  • Take end-to end ownership of projects and independently work with the business to drive, socialize, and implement solutions
  • Provide mentorship, leadership, and management support to junior team members

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Background 5+ years of experience in Business Management or COO experience. Bachelor™s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area.
  • Problem solving Intuitive thinker focused on asking the right questions to innovate and improve the status quo.
  • Content development Experienced in delivering timely, high-quality presentations and reporting with a creative mindset.
  • Communication Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as and relationship management skills. Knows how to frame messages for different audiences.
  • Partnership Strong relationship building skills. Demonstrated ability to drive results across multiple stakeholders.
  • Technical and analytical skills Superior analytical, organizational and prioritization skills. Self-starter with a desire to understand both the big picture and the details. Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint (visualization skills).
