As a member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, you'll help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems. Much of our support focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and reducing work through automation. You™ll join a team of curious problem solvers with a diverse set of perspectives who are thinking big and taking risks. Responsibilities:

  • Build, create, and modify web-based application server configurations on Tomcat, WebSphere, Apache & IHS.
  • Configure and maintain servers and processes across multiple environments, including monitoring of system health and performance, automating regular processes, scheduling upgrades, and assisting with delivery issues using monitoring tools like Dynatrace & Splunk.
  • Implement patches, updates, and fixes as necessary following established Change Management processes.
  • Administer and maintain applications in highly available, load balanced environments.
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems
  • Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed
  • Develop, test, and debug automated solutions for routinely executed jobs to gain efficiency in day-to-day operations of application life cycle.
  • Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases
  • Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
  • Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands

Qualifications:

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Bachelor™s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with the following:
