Implementation Manager

ADP is hiring an Implementation Manager to join our growing ADP Celergo Team.

 

In this role, you will provide effective management of the Implementation function within the Virtual Region (multiple physical locations, linked together with technology). The Regional implementation function is responsible for accepting sales orders, reviewing their accuracy, and managing the new clients' transition to ADP from setup through successful transition to regular processing. Level and scope of accountability varies with position level. Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure quality and productivity objectives are met consistently while managing the Sales relationship and providing acquisition support as necessary.

Position Summary


The Implementation Manager requires a dynamic mix of project management expertise, strong people management expertise, leadership and sophisticated client management experience. A successful Transition Supervisor leads by example the coordination of team resources to new projects, timely completion of projects with high quality, and meeting project start goals.
The Transition Supervisor must be comfortable being the team and client escalation point when managing to deadlines, meeting new client expectations, and facilitating project progress. The Supervisor of Transitions is responsible for supervising and managing Transition Project Leaders and Client Transition Leads and their activities, client satisfaction and success of ADP Celergo’s transition projects.


The Supervisor of Transition is also responsible for understanding the status of all clients and projects, and acts as escalation point with the client when the need requires. The Supervisor of Transitions participates in resource allocation - taking into consideration team members’ strengths, weaknesses and career desires. This position reports to the Director of Transitions, manages a team of 7+ direct reports (some global) and is responsible for employee retention/talent management within the team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assign client projects to the transitions team members and manage each transitions project manager and client transition lead’s capacity according to the complexity of each project
  • Enforce the Transition Process
  • Project Tollgates
  • Control Scope
  • Manage Change Control Process
  • Manage to and enforce appropriate Sign Off Requirements (internal and external)
  • Ensures that metrics are defined, tracked and reported with regularity
  • Brings forward stalled or back logged transitions
  • Acts as initial point of escalation for clients in transition
  • Coaches individual team members to meet transition goals
  • Owns and/or drives process improvement activities and projects
  •  Provides valuable insight in support of leadership goals and initiatives
  • Conduct routine check-ins with each assigned team member
  • Establish a relationship which nurtures open and honest communication
  • Discuss challenges and successes as related to assigned clients
  • Discuss team member’s goals and progress toward meeting them
  • Regularly provide performance feedback, both positive and constructive
  • Act as mentor and career coach
  • Participates in the performance management process
  • Complete and conduct all required performance reviews

  • Manages team’s client satisfaction and referral status performance utilizing the customer satisfaction survey.
  • Facilitate team to consistently provide strong critical problem-solving results, scope containment and strong adherence to Celergo’s process standardization and protocols.
  • Ensure timely Streamline terminations
  • Ensure timely and accurate internal and external reporting
  • Apply expertise to proactively provide process improvement suggestions to key stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage team performance:
  • Facilitate regular Check-ins
  • Establish a relationship which nurtures open and honest communication.
  • Discussion of challenges and successes as related to assigned clients.
  • Facilitate goal setting
  • Regularly provide performance feedback, both positive and constructive.
  • Act as mentor and career coach
  • Participate in the performance management process by conducting 3 month and annual performance reviews including making performance recommendations for salary, promotions/staff changes, separations
  • Actively provide feedback on individual team member performance providing timely performance feedback.
  • Acts as a client escalation point and takes ownership for issue resolution including protocols to ensure similar issues do not arise again.
  • Conducts oneself as a role model for professionalism.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • BA/BS degree (major in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Computer Science or related discipline preferred) OR technical training equivalent OR an equivalent in education and experience required.
  • At least one year experience as a Manager.
