As head of Application Security at cxLoyalty, you will lead a highly complementary team that is obsessed with improving the cross-functional global service offering. Your team has a direct impact on cxLoyalty™s enterprise experience and operational productivity and security. You will drive operations excellence for the different development platforms and will oversee the overall application security operations, security environment management, DevOps, and automation. This position can be remote for the correct individual.

This position will engage, collaborate, and partner with various technical leaders, platform leaders, and technology partners to drive long-term platform strategies that will align with the larger JPMorgan/Chase roadmap. This role will lead the practice of moving security activities to the left within cxLoyalty. A strong candidate will have proven strategic experience with collaboration and influencing skills in large matrix organizations, plus a variety of strengths and capabilities that:

  • Enhance and execute a transparent and proactive communication plan within the team and with partners/stakeholders, including maintaining an intranet/confluence digital presence
  • Partner with external organizations to ensure existing and new solutions are designed to meet JPMorgan Chase policies and standards.
  • Partner with internal organizations to drive software development activities to the left within the context of CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Provide leadership around the establishment of Application Security governance that includes the deployment of Threat Modeling, security training, Risk acceptance, and establishing and maturing Security KPIs.
  • 7+ years of operations experience, including DevOps, AWS cloud, and Application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST, Container security).
  • 7+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience driving teamwork between IT Operations, Engineering, and Security.
  • Experience applying Agile methodologies, with familiarity in other methodologies as projects may require.
  • Significant recent experience with leading implementation and/or maturing of CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading within matrixed organizations requiring strong influence leadership skills the ability to work collaboratively at all levels in a matrix environment.
  • Outstanding partnership, listening, and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements, and architecture conversations with all partners (management, business users, and technology resources).
