We will be looking to you to take the lead in maintaining an effective Regulatory Compliance program, as well as overseeing the adherence to the regulatory (non-AML) requirements. This position is a qualifying Controlled Functions position.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will lead a team of compliance experts responsible for jurisdictions across 55 countries are operating under various licensed entities within the EU and CIS region

  • Proactively communicating and coordinating with the industry leaders state and or country specific regulators

  • Managing development and enhancement of appropriate regulatory policies, procedures, systems and strategies

  • You will identify and communicate existing and new and upcoming regulatory requirements to develop regulatory compliance operating model, annual compliance plan and compliance management framework

  • You will be responsible for implementing risk-based compliance initiatives to develop and enhance the compliance and regulatory program across the region.

  • You will be reporting to regional governance committees, boards and senior management to support the companys strategy, objectives, address related issues and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.

Role Requirements

  • Strong Knowledge of EU Regulatory Compliance: A deep understanding of EU regulatory frameworks and compliance standards, particularly in the context of the payment industry.

  • Effective Relationship Management and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at senior levels, includes both written and verbal communication

  • Stakeholder Management: Adept at engaging with both external and internal stakeholders, including regulators. Building and maintaining relationships with these stakeholders is crucial for success in this role

  • Experience with Central Bank of Ireland: Familiarity or prior experience working with the Central Bank of Ireland is required.

  • Strong Leadership Abilities: A strong leader, capable of guiding and motivating a team to achieve goals effectively. Leadership skills are necessary to oversee compliance-related activities and manage personnel

  • Payment Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the payment industry, including its compliance and regulatory requirements, is necessary.

  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy:Ability to possess a high level of attention to detail to identify potential compliance gaps and ensure accuracy in regulatory reporting and documentation.
