ADP is hiring a Garnishment Operations Manager. In this position, you'll leverage your project management and leadership expertise to assist the Team Director in establishing the direction of daily activities, ensuring efficient operations, and creating an overall productive and enjoyable working environment for employees.

  • Lead daily activities of the team to ensure the accuracy and timely processing of all incoming court order documents received for Garnishment Services clients.
  • Provide technical support to the team on processes and procedures that impact department effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Work extensively with the Client Services and Implementation areas to resolve problems and implement new changes into current processes as required by clients, service level agreements and agencies.
  • Function as a consultant and business partner to other groups within ADP.
  • Train and mentor team members and identify development needs across the team.
  • Track various productivity and performance standards to ensure that established levels are achieved, especially during critical activity periods.
  • Manage escalated issues and provide direction.
  • Evaluate associates on performance and complete annual performance appraisals.
  • Participate in task forces, strategic initiatives, stretch assignments and collaboration opportunities with other business units.


  • Minimum of 3 years of people leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success with building effective teams through coaching and development of non-exempt level associates.
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in education and experience.
  • Availability to work hours between 7 am to 6 pm Monday -- Friday, occasional Saturdays, and overtime as required by business needs.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Prior experience generating operational and productivity reports to analyze departmental performance and deficiencies.
  • Experience managing associates within a transitional processing or operational environment.
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of internal and external contacts verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent collaboration, organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment, focused on achieving results
  • Strong client relationship building skills.
  • Ability to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise and escalate to the appropriate level.
