The Finance & Business Management (F&BM) Transformation group within the Office of the CFO (OCFO) partners with Financial Analysis, Treasury and Controllers to build scalable, end-to-end solutions that optimize the use of financial data assets, drive improvement in human capital productivity, advance platform capabilities & efficiency, maximize self-service, and exhibit robust controls. The F&BM Transformation group also develops and manages skills of the future development programs and actively engages colleagues across the organization to upskill to be positioned to evolve solutions over a long-term horizon.

F&BM Transformation collaborates with partners to understand business needs and works with Corporate Technology to design and build capabilities & apply solutions that elevate the way we provide financial & business information and insights across a range of key deliverables inclusive of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting and capital stress testing, macroeconomic scenario design and execution, and the business development of our financial infrastructure. Further, we work with all Lines of Business (LOBs) across the firm™s ~$3.5T balance sheet:

  • Consumer & Community Banking, which includes Consumer & Business Banking, Home Lending, Credit Card & Auto
  • Corporate & Investment Banking, which includes Markets, Investment Banking, Wholesale Payments and Securities Services
  • Commercial Banking
  • Asset & Wealth Management
  • Treasury, CIO and Corporate

Role Description

The Anaplan Solution Architect is a key foundational role in the newly formed Anaplan Center of Excellence. This team is responsible for working across LOBs and functions to design and implement solutions for critical business processes on the Anaplan platform. The Anaplan Solution Architect will drive implementations across the OCFO, defining standards and best practices and leveraging a deep understanding of Anaplan platform to develop other model builders. The Solution Architect will work closely with the Dimension & Data Management Lead to drive effective design for data integration & datahubs. An excellent understanding of Financial Planning & Budgeting processes is essential to drive business process transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Define Anaplan Model and UX design and build standards for end to end solution architecture across the Anaplan platform
  • Provides technical direction and architectural guidance in the implementation of large-scale, Anaplan projects
  • Leverage business process knowledge and expertise in Anaplan to drive business process transformation
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop models in Anaplan, converting business problems into technical solutions
  • Lead Anaplan Design Council to oversee Anaplan implementations across functions, ensuring adherence to best practice and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor™s Degree with minimum 3+ years of relevant hands-on Anaplan experience and minimum 5+ years of Business Intelligence experience
  • Certified in Anaplan. Master Anaplanner is preferred
  • Experience with Financial Planning and Modeling
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams and work in a fast paced, results driven environment tackling complex problems
  • Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, presentation & communication skills
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI and other BI tools is preferred
