Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Digital organization provide support for the Digital CCB businesses which serve more than 61 million consumers and 4 million small businesses across Consumer, Business and Mortgage Banking, Card Services, Auto Finance and Merchant Services.

The Finance & Business Management - VP will play a critical role in realizing that ambition.

Digital Finance & Business Management optimizes business performances by helping to drive key initiatives. We act as trusted advisors, partners and counterweight to Business/Group Heads. We are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks whilst helping to drive industry-leading projects to provide our customers with a best-in-class experience. We also strive to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Amongst our responsibilities are a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), and advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies.

Description of Responsibilities:

The VP in our Digital Finance & Business Management team would be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Partner strategically with Digital Business and Technology Leadership in all areas of financial management delivering an annual budget with a three-year outlook, monthly reporting & forecasting, headcount & expense management
  • Define and develop key metrics to measure the performance of strategic business initiatives
  • Provide regular updates on the benefits of pursuing and realizing key metrics
  • Review and provide commentary on YTD actual spend vs. planned spend
  • Spearhead the driving of effective Agile principles throughout F&BM process and systems
  • Expected financial management covering monthly, quarterly, key dates as well as forecasting & central reporting
  • Work with key partners and stakeholder to enhance existing processes and analytic models to support digital and overall CCB organization
  • Oversee headcount management i.e. hiring, spend, requisitions etc.
  • Proactively analyze trends, research issues and respond to inquiries
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis & investigation as required by the business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or related majors
  • 8+ years of related experience (e.g., Financial Planning, Data Analysis). Technology or Digital experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to influence and gain trust of executive management
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed and rapidly change environment
  • Exceptional time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills essential
  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and senior management
  • Outstanding PC skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Hyperion Essbase, SAP)
