As a Financial Analysis Vice President on the Consumer Bank Field Finance team, you will be responsible for advising leadership on how to increase productivity, profitability, and efficiencies through strategic and analytical reporting.
From financial control to business support, you'll work with some of the brightest minds in the industry to provide timely and accurate reporting, strategic analytics, and help drive market leadership in the Consumer Bank, specifically in the Branch Banking channel.
Job Responsibilities
- Planning & Reporting - Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, explain results and variances, track against targets and ensure profitability goals are achieved, support broader Consumer Bank finance team and CFO
- Business Support - Support Branch Banking executive leadership team with internal presentations and business reviews, execute quickly on ad-hoc projects / requests
- Strategic Analytics and Projects - Drive critical financial analytics to provide insights for management decision making and business cases, partner with other finance and functional teams to lead and / or support strategic business projects to help achieve business goals and drive market leadership
- End-to-end ownership of national reporting processes including executive management reports and leadership scorecards
- Lead team efforts on dashboard reporting design and delivery (i.e., Tableau); help support firmwide data / reporting automation efforts
- Analyze business results, provide variance analysis inclusive of underlying drivers, oversee preparation / coordination of presentations for management meetings and LOB business reviews
- Deliver other statistical and field productivity data to support profitability decisions and strategic initiatives (e.g., NPVs, business cases)
- Interface with Divisional Finance Business Managers to share national insights and provide guidance on how to leverage supporting detail to drive productivity at the Division and Region levels
- This role reports to the Consumer Bank Field Finance Centralized Reporting & Analytics head
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 7+ years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a subject of a technical nature
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (including PitchPro+)
- Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills, confidence with advanced finance and accounting concepts
- Strong work ethic; proactive with a results-oriented, fact-based approach
- Professional maturity and personal integrity, ability to build relationships and partner with a seasoned team to drive results
- Ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and provide strong documentation
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong knowledge of Essbase, with Retail Banking Financial Systems knowledge preferred
- Expertise with large data sets and the ability to present conclusions concisely; experience in process automation preferred

- Strong communication, organizational, and judgement skills
Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
