Consumer, Business & Core Banking (CBC) Technology leads all aspects of technology delivery for our branches, ATMs, consumer and business banking products, debit cards, business loans and core banking platforms, as well as firmwide capabilities such as the Customer and AML KYC products servicing 29 million consumer banking households and 4 million small businesses. We aim to deliver best-in-class digitally-oriented, customer-centric solutions through transformative engineering practices. Our teams support the foundation our customers bank on, providing scalable, stable and secure deposit financial capabilities to all JPMC LOBs while transforming our delivery via standard APIs, events and cloud-based microservices.

We are looking for an Executive Director Portfolio Lead, who can support CBC Head of Technology in strategic planning, drive a transformative agenda by engaging with thousands of engineers in a march towards public cloud adoption and continue to improve the operating model and ecosystem to make this the best place to work for our technical talent. The core responsibilities for this role will include

  • Strategic planning for key platforms balancing a modernization agenda while delivering revenue generating product initiatives
  • Functional coordination and communication during monthly reviews, all hands and off sites
  • Partnering with Finance on Budget and Business Management
  • Support Head of Technology on delivery of key issues by staying on top of Risks, building a stronger network to deliver objectives across organization boundaries
  • Communication across the organization - share perspectives and priorities of the HoT to the larger organization
  • Influence engineering teams to look at the big picture and gain alignment with the organizational goals¯
  • Provide support on projects and initiatives with research, financial modeling, internal optimizations, HR processes, presentations and gather feedback
  • Critical thinker, advisor and a force multiplier leveraging solid change management and stakeholder management skills

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
  • Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Lead a transformation journey across a globally distributed engineering team to deliver best in class software solutions across Consumer, Business and Core Banking
