You'll be responsible for leading key technology aspects of the Chase-Amazon relationship, including co-brand card servicing, lending and other initiatives requiring technology integrations. You will liaise directly with Amazon technologists and leaders, direct work internal to Chase, help develop technology strategies, respond to escalations, and broadly advocate for Amazon's interests within JPMC Global Technology. This individual contributor role requires a seasoned tech executive familiar with complex business relationships, understanding of a broad range of integrations patterns and channels, exceptional communication skills, experience developing solution architectures and project management experience.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Command of architecture, design, and business processes
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
  • Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Experienced in modern programming languages, tools and platforms to include the Java stack, microservices, springboot, and AWS (or other Cloud based platforms)
  • Strengths in executive stakeholder interactions, both internal and external
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and gain consensus from disparate groups with sometimes opposing priorities
  • Ability to maintain a balanced business and customer service focused approach in client meetings
  • Strengths in high level troubleshooting of production issues and the ability to coordinate resources to remediate within tight SLAs.
  • Proven track record of leading and supporting large-scale, enterprise level systems
