**Treasury Governance and Control Manager** is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
**In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:**
+ Manage EMEA Regional Treasury Control Environment effectiveness and support Senior Manager in oversight
+ Proactively identify, quantify, measure, and monitor actual and emerging operational, model, and regulatory risk items
+ Perform assessment of EMEA Treasury processes and controls against various policy and standard requirements and operational risk exposure
+ Provide coordination of internal and external audit inspections impacting EMEA Regional Treasury
+ Support EMEA Regional Treasury in implementing initiatives to ensure compliance with governance and control requirements
+ Collaborates with Citi Treasury Global Process Owner office to ensure a consistent approach with Global regulatory engagements
+ Partners with members of EMEA Treasury, Treasury, Risk Management, and Finance to establish efficient processes, develop tools, analysis and reporting necessary to proactively identify and manage risk with respect to Treasury process portfolios and products, and continuously monitor effectiveness of the operating model and the current business structure.
+ Develops a high level of expertise in the various systems EMEA Treasury uses to manage risk exposure.
+ Supports EMEA Treasury Governance Leadership in review, design, testing and implementing new EMEA Treasury processes, including establishing data standards and controls as well as coordinating and performing ongoing governance and control projects
+ Works with members of the various disciplines to identify ways to streamline and automate process flows in order to create more accurate and timely results, as well as improving efficiency.
+ Cooperates with EMEA Treasury Leadership in appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
**The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:**
+ Minimum of 5-6 years relevant experience in a large financial or banking organization
+ Previous experience in audit, project management and / or business management field is preferred
+ Excellent understanding of Risk Management Frameworks (i.e.: CUSO)
+ Strong analytical and communication skills
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, and must be great team player
+ Familiarity with control frameworks, and project management
+ Excellent verbal and written English
+ Proficient quantitative and presentation skills, with attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Access, and ability to work with large volumes of data leveraging spreadsheets and models
+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ ACCA/ACA/CIA/CISA or equivalent qualifications are an advantage
