Director Threat Intelligence and Hunt

ADP is hiring a Director of Hunt and Threat Intelligence


In this role, you will drive threat hunting and intelligence operations that would combine aspects of threat hunting, detection engineering, malware reverse engineering, and cyber threat intelligence analysis.


You will work closely with cross-functional leaders in the Global Cyber Security Services organization and the Hunt & Threat Intelligence team to understand goals and vision. You will produce estimates to support decision making and feature prioritization on high-level projects. You will manage projects and products, track dependencies and guide your team towards their delivery objectives. You will nurture innovation and facilitate collaboration within the team. You will manage entire life cycles of products, from concept, through release, to production and its support. You will manage the day-to-day priorities for individual analysts while driving high levels of quality and productivity. You will build and grow your team through acquiring, up-training and retaining the talent and you will mentor, support and coach individual analysts and engineers for their professional, technical and personal growth.

You have managed entire life cycles of products/projects, from concept, through release, to production and its support. You know how to manage the day-to-day priorities for individual analysts while driving high levels of quality and productivity. Here's what you can expect on a typical day

  • Manage team of intelligence analysts, hunt analysts, and detection engineers.
  • Develop and maintain standing intel requirements based on needs of defined intelligence consumers.
  • Develop, document and maintain processes around Threat Hunt and Detection Engineering
  • Manage intelligence collections according to requirements - to include collections from internal teams (SOC, IR, etc.).
  • Define, purchase, and maintain necessary tools for intelligence collection, processing, analysis, and storage, as well consult on platforms for threat hunting.
  • Produce and disseminate intelligence products; utilize feedback from customers to improve products.
  • Produce KPIs, OKRs, and other relevant metrics in support of the various managed missions to show program success and health, opportunities for improvement, and understanding of time and resource commitment and allocation.


A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job.


  • Experience as a people manager leading technical analysts/engineers.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work with teams to establish timelines and ensure project success.
  • Strong background in managing or working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related.
  • Strong desire to see projects succeed by providing alternative solutions non-conventional thought processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members to ensure successful implementation of solutions that meet and ideally exceed user requirements.
  • Experience working across business units to develop new workflows and processes to enhance operations.
  • Experience as a consumer or producer of cyber threat intelligence analysis.
  • Experience with security operations.
